“Dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK, but there are many misunderstandings about the illness and how to care for those going through it.”

We were challenged by Dignity In Dementia to help promote awareness of their campaign to support families affected by dementia.


Our approach:

  • Create 2 short animated films based on a poems about the emotional impact of living with Dementia.

  • Seed the content to families and carers in North West England (the area of focus for the organisation) via social media.

With a strategy agreed, we set about producing the film and getting it in front of the folks who’d find it most useful and moving.

Both of our films were based on poems written by Dignity In Dementia service users.

We produced this film to launching a guide for staff of care homes.
